Archbishop Ford, a Boston native and a Franciscan Friar, is the Headmaster of Trinity Christian Academy and comes to us with 40+ years of teaching experience at the grammar, secondary and post-secondary levels. He holds a doctorate and several other advanced degrees in Theology and Canon Law from St Francis Theological Seminary in New York; he is the senior bishop of the church and its top administrative cleric; he is a lawyer and judge in the church courts, chairman of numerous committees and commissions, the author and editor of diverse church periodicals, publications and booklets, and was the compiler of the church's Code of Canon Law and its Catechism. He has been involved in inner city ministry within the Anglo, Hispanic and West Indian communities, and has long been active in ecumenical circles and organizations; he has been an advocate for poor and underserved youth and families; he has served on various citizen boards with state Departments of Social Services, Mental Health, Juvenile Justice and the Office of Children; he has served in churches and pastored parishes throughout New England, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Montreal and the West Indies. He currently teaches English and Literature, History, Civics, and Maine Studies as well as Latin, Spanish, French and Bible. He will be offering several elective courses during the year. Archbishop Ford has raised nine foster-sons throughout the years, and he currently resides in Springvale.
